Who is this guy?

Hi.

My name is Paul Fleming and I'm an Area Developer for Physiomed Health. Physiomed is a new concept in wholehealth care for customers. We're patient-centric; in plain english that means that a team of physiotherapists (physical therapists), chiropractors, massage therapists, osteopaths, nutrionists, etc. all work together as a team to optimize your health and overall fitness.

For a clinician (like those mentioned above) Physiomed helps you build a successful practice - we're a franchise model which means like any franchisor we provide the business systems, operations support, marketing support, training, and the ability to work with other clinic owners like yourself. We don't believe profit is a dirty word - we believe that in order to provide consistent, patient-focused care you need to have a comfortable, secure income and a balanced life. And that the best way to do that is to provide you with the tools you need to have a successful clinic.

As an Area Developer I have two roles - the first is to seek out, find and nuture new owners into their own clinics. The second role, the focus on this blog, is to help those owners take those businesses into the next level of success through ongoing coaching, ensuring successful strategies are shared amongst owners and that Physiomed collects all great new ideas and constantly evolves its support to meet both customer and owner needs.

My background - an MBA, years as a consultant to successful companies (big and small), training as a business coach, and a decade of running small business operations - both my own and for other people. More of that will probably come out as this blog develops.

So, you won't find our Physiomed 'secret sauce' here - what I want to share and discuss is successful ideas that are common sense and that anyone who either owns or wants to own a clinic can adapt and use. I welcome your thoughts and feedback as well. I'll stress again - my background is not clinical so I'll try to stay clear of anything to do with patient treatment (although I will talk about the "patient experience").

So with all that said, let's go...
